Al Hilal have reportedly reached an agreement with West Ham United for the transfer of winger Crysencio Summerville. The proposed deal is valued at approximately €80 million, which includes a total package. A medical examination is scheduled for Summerville as part of his potential move to the Saudi Pro League club.
A long-term contract for the Netherlands international is also prepared, awaiting final authorisations. Summerville, who is 24 years old, was anticipated to leave West Ham during the current transfer window, especially after the club’s relegation to the Championship last season. Earlier reports indicated that West Ham would likely seek a significant sum to approve the winger’s departure.
This month, Roma reportedly submitted a bid of €46 million for Summerville. Other clubs, including Manchester United, had also inquired about his situation, and Aston Villa expressed interest in the player. Summerville’s contract at the London Stadium was originally set to run until 2029.
Summerville’s recent career and international appearances
Summerville was part of the Netherlands’ 26-man squad for the World Cup, despite making his international debut in a friendly just in June. During the tournament, he featured in four of the team’s matches, contributing with two goals and two assists. However, he missed a penalty during the shootout loss against Morocco in the round of 32.
He joined West Ham from Leeds United in 2024 and has since featured for the east London club. In the last season alone, he played in matches across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
The potential departure of Summerville follows another significant transfer for West Ham this summer. Mateus Fernandes has already moved to Tottenham Hotspur in a deal. In contrast, captain Jarrod Bowen has committed his future to the club by signing a revised contract.

West Ham defender Konstantinos Mavropanos is reportedly keen on returning to the Premier League, with Leeds United among the interested clubs for the 28-year-old Greece international. Sheffield United has reportedly surpassed Leicester City in the pursuit of Rangers and Scotland defender John Souttar, 29. Norwich City and West Ham are interested in left-back Matt Targett, 30, following his release by Newcastle, after he spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough.
Leeds is set to be joined by Crystal Palace in the race to sign Southampton and Northern Ireland midfielder Shea Charles, 22, who is reportedly valued at a significant sum. Preston is among several clubs interested in 22-year-old Oxford United winger Stanley Mills. Celtic will consider offers for striker Johnny Kenny this summer, with Millwall and Bolton Wanderers both interested in the 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international, who scored six goals in 14 appearances last season while on loan. Blackburn’s 24-year-old Nigerian international right-back Ryan Alebiosu is attracting attention from clubs in the Bundesliga and Serie A.
