Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Leicester City ‘wonderkid’ Jeremy Monga, who could become the club’s second summer signing. The England U19 international, who has made 37 senior appearances for Leicester, has been linked with several prominent Premier League and European clubs following his side’s relegation to League One. Journalist Nicolo Schira reported that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Monga, and are now working to finalise a deal with Leicester City.

The Gunners are said to be active in the transfer market this summer as they aim to reinforce their squad for the upcoming season, particularly after their appearance in the Champions League final. This move for Monga follows reports from May 28, indicating Arsenal were close to securing a deal for the young talent. While Newcastle were also reported to be in the race for Monga, Arsenal appears to be the more likely destination.

In other transfer news, Tottenham are making significant moves in the summer transfer market. They have already secured the arrival of Andy Robertson on a free transfer from Liverpool and are expected to finalise a deal for Marcos Senesi, who is departing Bournemouth. Additionally, Tottenham are pursuing Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke.

Micky van de Ven, a Netherlands teammate of Jan Paul van Hecke, revealed he has discussed Tottenham with the defender. Spurs have had two bids for the centre-back rejected, but a third offer is anticipated. Van Hecke is reportedly keen on reuniting with his former Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi in north London. Brighton chief executive Paul Barber confirmed that Tottenham is not the only club tracking Van Hecke, who reportedly has a £70million asking price. Dutch outlet Voetbal International has reported that Spurs have agreed personal terms with the versatile defender.

Tottenham are also in pursuit of Manchester City winger Savinho, who has agreed personal terms on a contract until 2031, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.

Chelsea and Real Madrid Pursuits

Chelsea are reportedly stepping up talks to make Dusan Vlahovic the first signing under new boss Xabi Alonso. The Juventus striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League previously, with Arsenal and Manchester United showing interest. Reports from Italy suggest Chelsea are in contact with Vlahovic’s father, Milos, who is said to be listening to offers on his son’s behalf. Newcastle are also rumoured to be interested in the Serbian international.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is set to launch a significant bid for Michael Olise. This development comes after Florentino Perez was re-elected as the club’s president. Perez’s re-election saw him overcome competition from rival Enrique Riquelme. During the campaign, candidates made various promises, with Perez vowing to bring back Jose Mourinho as manager and make a £130million bid for Olise, currently with Bayern Munich.

Reports indicate that Denzel Dumfries and Ibrahima Konate are on their way to Madrid. However, Bayern Munich is reportedly unwilling to let Olise leave without a challenge, having stated that the former Crystal Palace winger is not for sale. Olise recorded 53 goal contributions in 52 appearances this season.

Other Transfer Speculations

Emmanuel Mbemba of Paris Saint-Germain is believed to favour a move to Arsenal. The 18-year-old defender, who can play at centre-back or left-back, was offered a new deal by the French club but is available for £150,000 in training compensation as his current contract expires at the end of the month. Arsenal reportedly made an approach for Mbemba last week, shortly after losing the Champions League final to PSG on penalties.

Manchester United could emerge as frontrunners in the race to sign Morgan Rogers. The Aston Villa playmaker is attracting interest from several clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City. Rogers previously stated there was “no bigger club than Manchester United” ahead of Villa’s 2-1 win over the Red Devils in the Premier League in December.

Real Madrid’s re-election of Florentino Perez could also impact Arsenal’s transfer market activity, as Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to sign Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori.

Liverpool could potentially reunite Rayan with Andoni Iraola and are also considering a swap deal for Yan Diomande.

Arsenal are also said to have agreed personal terms with Piero Hincapie, who joined on loan last summer from Bayer Leverkusen with an option to buy for around £45million. This permanent transfer is expected to be finalised after the versatile defender attracted interest from FC Barcelona.

Former Crystal Palace forward Clinton Morrison has advised Arsenal to prioritise signing a new striker and a left winger to provide pressure on Gyokeres and contend with Kai Havertz, and to account for potential departures like Gabriel Jesus, who may seek regular playing time.
